Getting involved
Browsing the ToolKit portal is possible for anyone, but to contribute, you need to have an account.
NoE members should be able to log in using the same account details as for the main VPH NoE website. Other individuals may register for an account - this is open to anyone.
Once you are logged in, you will see a second menu on the left, containing links allowing you to submit a Tool, Method, or Service. These will present you with a form in which to enter all the relevant details. Tooltips provide guidelines on what information to include in each field.
A particularly interesting field is the "Tag Keywords", in which you can enter comma separately keywords to assist users in finding your entry when searching. The most commonly used keywords are displayed in the "Tag cloud" at the top of each page, which is automatically updated each hour.
We invite entry submissions from anyone, not just developers - if you use a tool that you think the community could benefit from, then do add it! Conversely, if you find that a tool you developed has been added by someone else, and would like 'ownership' of the entry in order to edit it, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Logged-in users also have the ability to provide feedback on entries in the database, either by a simple ranking, or by giving a more in-depth review of their experiences.
This website itself is also under active development. If you have any ideas for improvements, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it !
