VPH Toolkit Portal terms of use
The VPH ToolKit Portal presents news, information and links to key information deemed relevant to the VPH community. The ToolKit Portal offers users the possibility to learn more about the tools, methods and services available in the VPH field and to navigate the site in order to learn more about how people work and what has supported others in their endeavours. It also serves as a channel to link visitors to other VPH initiatives.
Access to the VPH NoE Toolkit Portal is provided from ERCIM, France.
Uploading content
The VPH ToolKit portal website contains facilities for tools, services and methods to be uploaded through predefined templates. Users agree to use these submission techniques only to publish materials that are strictly related to this community and agree not to do any of the following:
- Users may not download, distribute or otherwise publish through the VPH ToolKit website any content which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive or in any way violates any laws.
- The VPH ToolKit Portal is for non-commercial use only. Users should not distribute or otherwise publish any material containing any solicitation for funding, advertising or solicitation for goods or services without requesting and receiving prior written approval from the VPH NoE.
- Users shall not delete any author attributions, legal notices, proprietary designations or labels from any file that is downloaded nor falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is downloaded.
By posting any Submission, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 13 years old; (b) your Submission does not contain any information that you or another party consider confidential, proprietary, or personal and not to be shared; (c) you own all rights in your Submission or, alternatively, you have acquired all necessary rights in your Submission to enable you to grant to the rights in your Submissions described herein; (d) your Submission does not infringe the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal or moral rights of any third party; (e) you voluntarily agree to waive all "moral rights" that you may have in your Submission; (f) any information contained in your Submission is not known by you to be false, inaccurate, or misleading; (g) your Submission does not violate any law (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination, or false advertising); (h) your Submission is not, and may not reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially, ethnically, religiously, or otherwise biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening, or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership, or corporation, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, or invasive of another’s privacy; (i) you were not and will not be compensated or granted any consideration by any third party for submitting your Submission; (j) your Submission does not contain any viruses, worms, spyware, adware, or other potentially damaging programs or files; and (k) your Submission does not contain or constitute any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation.
The VPH NoE does not and cannot review every submission by users although will endeavour to periodically review the content for suitability and is not responsible for the content of any submissions posted. The VPH NoE reserves the right to delete, move or edit, at its sole discretion, information that it deems abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright laws or unacceptable. Users shall remain solely responsible for the content of their submissions.
Users acknowledge that any submissions may be edited, removed, modified, published, transmitted and displayed by the VPH NoE.
Users should be aware that the site contents are public and not private communications. Further, users acknowledge that chats, postings, conferences and any other form of communication by other users are not endorsed by NoE, and that such communications shall not be considered as having been reviewed, screened or approved by NoE.
Copyrights
The contents of the VPH ToolKit Portal are intended for the personal and non-commercial use of its users. The VPH NoE grants permission to users to visit the site, and to download and copy information, images, documents and materials from the website for users' personal non-commercial use. The VPH NoE does not grant the right to resell or redistribute any information, documents, images or material from its website or to compile or create derivative works from material on its website. All material published on the VPH ToolKit Portal is protected by copyright and owned or controlled by VPH NoE or the party credited as the provider of the content, software or other material.
